Arland’s waterjet capability offers a turnkey solution to our customers for the manufacture of components including steam turbine diaphragm spacer bands. 5-axis capability allows cutting of complex geometries to finish size or near net shape for final machining. The 59" x 90" cutting envelope allows the capability to nest components from large sheets of material to optimize yields. The process leaves no residual stresses caused from heat, thereby minimizing any additional operations and lowering cost and lead times.
